Rivergate Marina and Shipyard

Recently voted as one of the top three superyacht marinas in the South Pacific (by readers of Boat International USA), Rivergate Marina and Shipyard is a 105-berth deep-water marina suitable for boats up to 70-metres in length.

Its extensive facilities include a refit complex and an air-conditioned crew lounge and kitchen.

The state-of-the-art yard has completed a number of major refits since opening in 2007 including a stringent 10-year Lloyds Survey on a 52-metre Oceanco. Extensive maintenance work has also been conducted on a 73-metre Delta.

The impressive Oceanco chose Rivergate for her 10-year Lloyds Survey in 2007. The Captain was so impressed he commented, “Rivergate YGA enabled the yacht to complete the 10 year Lloyds yard period two weeks ahead of schedule and under budget. This is incredible considering the scope of works. This project would have cost many more millions and would have taken twice as long if completed in the USA or Europe.”

After spending several months cruising the tropical waters of the Queensland coastline, the 73-metre Delta returned for a second visit after the smooth performance of work during the first visit. This is key as a superyacht yard is customarily seen as successful if it achieves repeat business.
